At Medik8, we intricately formulated Press & Clear to deliver incredible results with daily use, whilst supporting the skin barrier to maintain a healthy complexion.

1. Maximum strength BHA (2%) salicylic acid is oil soluble and able to penetrate deep into pores to break down blockages which can lead to blemishes and congestion. Our blemish hero, it promotes a visibly decongested, clarified complexion. Salicylic acid is optimally delivered with our gentle-release, crystal encapsulation system. This slowly releases the salicylic acid to avoid any discomfort on sensitive, vulnerable skins, whilst maintaining power.
2. Press & Clear has a very skin-friendly pH of ~5.5. Whilst other exfoliating acids, such as AHAs, require low pHs to work on the skin, salicylic acid is special as it is an effective exfoliant at both low and more neutral pHs. Our balanced pH contributes to the non-stinging, gentle experience when using Press & Clear.
3. Brightening active, tranexamic acid, works to visibly even the skin tone, minimising the appearance of stubborn post-blemish marks and imperfections.
4. Sake extract and aloe vera soothe and hydrate the skin, offsetting any dryness that has occurred during and post-blemish. The skin barrier is nourished and supported; resilient to future breakouts.
