One of the most common questions we get is, “Will dermaplaning make my hair grow thicker and darker?”
The answer is NO. The soft, vellus hair will grow slowly in about 4 weeks. Once your hair begins to grow back it might feel different because the hair was cut straight across, but it is actually the same texture as it was before and it will grow at the same speed.
Only hormonal or other internal factors can change the hair regrowth pattern, speed or thickness.
