A tan-boosting cream with bronze shimmer and the scent of real chocolate, designed to bring on a deeper tan with less time in the sun or on a sunbed. It melts into the skin without stickiness and moisturises while it works. It carries no SPF, so pair it with the sun protection of your choice.

  • Marigold, locally grown — smoothing and moisturising, so skin feels soothed rather than irritated.
  • Walnut oil — the reason behind the deep, long-lasting sun-kissed glow, and it helps keep skin hydrated and nourished.
  • Shea butter — a natural moisturiser. Hydrated skin holds a tan for longer, which is why it is here.
  • Raw, unprocessed cacao butter — helps the skin take on a healthy, radiant tan, and carries the chocolate scent.
  • Vitamin E — replenishes dry skin, speeds the replacement of dead cells and smooths sun-kissed skin.
  • Mica — the shimmering pearls that give the bronze finish.

How to use

  1. Apply your SPF product first and let it absorb.
  2. Apply the cream evenly over the areas you want to tan, before sunbathing.
  3. Reapply frequently, especially after swimming and towelling.
  4. BYROKKO advise using the cream on its own, without UV protection, only in the early morning and late afternoon.

This product does not provide UV protection. Avoid the midday hours, 11am to 4pm. BYROKKO do not recommend using it on the face, and say to avoid contact with the eyes. Afterwards, moisturise the skin well to hold the tan — they suggest their own aloe vera gel or after-sun cream.

Can I use SPF with it?
Yes, and BYROKKO recommend it. Apply your SPF first, let it settle, then apply the cream on top.
Is this a fake tan?
No. It has no colourant that stains the skin; it works by building your own melanin under UV, so you still need sun or a sunbed.
Can I use it in a sunbed?
Yes. BYROKKO say it is as effective in a tanning bed as it is outdoors.
Can I use it on my face?
BYROKKO do not recommend it on the face. Avoid contact with the eyes.
Does it protect me from the sun?
No. It contains no SPF and provides no UV protection. Avoid direct sun between 11am and 4pm.

The texture is soft and completely non-sticky and it absorbs fast, so it can be reapplied often. It suits all skin types and works outdoors or in a tanning bed. It contains no UV protection, so it belongs over your sun protection rather than instead of it.
