  • L-mandelic acid — a softly exfoliating AHA with BHA power, working both on the surface of the skin and within pores for deep but gentle exfoliation.
  • L-lactic acid — an AHA that gently exfoliates for a smoother texture while deeply hydrating.
  • Salicylic acid — a BHA that decongests and exfoliates from within the pore, breaking down the clogged oil and skin cells that contribute to enlarged pores and blemishes.
  • Red clover extract — a botanical astringent that helps minimise excess sebum production and the appearance of pores.
  • Glycerin — a natural humectant that traps moisture within the skin to leave it hydrated and comfortable.

How to use

Use in the morning and/or evening.

  • Apply a pea-sized amount to the fingertips and massage into a moistened face and neck.
  • Rinse off with warm water and pat the face dry.

If you have dry or sensitive skin, use up to once a day, or whenever a deeper cleanse is required. If you are new to it, Medik8 recommend a patch test at least 24 hours before first use.

Yes, Medik8 recommend the pairing for enlarged pores and oiliness. If your skin is dry or sensitive, use only one of the two per routine.
How does it differ from Surface Radiance Cleanse?
Both are AHA/BHA gel cleansers. Surface Radiance Cleanse targets dullness and visible ageing; Pore Cleanse Gel Intense targets enlarged pores and excess oil.
Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Medik8 strongly recommend discussing the ingredients with your GP or midwife. As general guidance, it contains no ingredients they would advise avoiding, unless your doctor says otherwise.
