Cryoliposculpt / Fat Freezing

Cryoliposculpt® is an advanced, non-invasive cryolipolysis treatment designed to help reduce localised areas of unwanted fat and improve the overall contour of the body.

Using controlled cooling technology, Cryoliposculpt® targets fat tissue while the treatment applicator gently draws the selected area into contact with the cooling surface. The system can cool the treatment area to temperatures of up to -10°C, with integrated temperature monitoring and adjustable vacuum for a controlled and comfortable treatment. 

How does Cryoliposculpt® work?

Cryoliposculpt® works through controlled cooling of subcutaneous fat tissue.

During the treatment, the applicator uses controlled suction to position the targeted fatty tissue between the cooling surfaces. The controlled cold exposure is designed to affect fat cells, after which the body naturally processes and eliminates the affected cellular material over time.

Biotec Italia’s Cryoliposculpt® technology also incorporates TissueActive®, developed to support tissue quality during the treatment, together with the Fit4® system, which can allow multiple areas to be treated during the same session.

What areas can be treated?

Cryoliposculpt® may be suitable for areas with localised fat deposits, such as:

The most appropriate treatment area and protocol will always depend on your individual anatomy and goals.

What happens during the treatment?

Before treatment, we assess the area you would like to improve and determine whether Cryoliposculpt® is suitable for you.

During the session, the Cryoliposculpt® applicator is positioned over the selected area. Controlled vacuum gently draws the tissue into the applicator while the system delivers controlled cooling.

You may initially feel suction, pressure and a strong cooling sensation. These sensations generally settle as the area becomes accustomed to the cooling.

After the treatment, the area may temporarily appear red or feel sensitive. Some clients may also experience temporary swelling, tenderness, numbness or bruising. These effects vary from person to person.

When will I see results?

Cryoliposculpt® is not an instant fat-removal treatment. The body needs time to naturally process the affected fat cells following treatment.

Results therefore develop gradually rather than immediately. Your practitioner will discuss the expected timeframe with you and advise whether additional sessions may be appropriate based on your individual response.

Is Cryoliposculpt® suitable for everyone?

Cryoliposculpt® is designed for body contouring and localised fat reduction, not for general weight loss or the treatment of obesity.

A consultation is important before treatment so that we can assess your goals, medical history, the treatment area and whether cryolipolysis is appropriate for you.

Treatment may not be suitable for everyone. Certain medical conditions, medications, sensitivity to cold, problems affecting circulation or other factors may mean that Cryoliposculpt® should be avoided. Your practitioner will discuss these with you during your consultation.
