  • Watermelon extract — naturally stimulates the production of melanin in the body, which is what the tan is made of.
  • Walnut oil — darkens the skin and gives it shine.
  • Hazelnut oil — helps to moisturise and hydrate the skin.
  • Vitamin E — boosts the production of melanin, which improves your ability to tan.
  • Almond oil — BYROKKO describe it as helping to protect the skin from UV radiation damage and restore its moisture barrier. It is not a substitute for sunscreen; the oil carries no SPF.
  • Calendula macerate — helps to support, protect and regenerate the skin.

How to use

  1. Apply your sunscreen first and let it absorb.
  2. Apply the oil evenly over the body before sunbathing or a sunbed session.
  3. Reapply through your session, particularly after swimming and towelling.

This product provides no UV protection. It needs sun or a sunbed to work — it is not an instant self-tan. Avoid direct sun exposure between 11am and 4pm.

Can I use it in a sunbed?
Yes. The oil activates with UV exposure, so it works in the sun or in a solarium.
I am pale and struggle to tan — will it help?
BYROKKO say it can. Their tanning oils and creams work by stimulating melanin production, and more melanin makes tanning easier.
Will it tan me in winter without sun?
No. It is not an instant self-tan; it needs sun or a sunbed to work.
Will it stain my clothes or towels?
It is water-resistant and formulated to absorb fast, but as with any tanning oil, let it absorb before dressing.
Does it protect me from the sun?
No. It contains no SPF. Use it alongside a sunscreen.
