  • Laminaria digitata (Guam seaweed) and Fucus vesiculosus — the mineral- and antioxidant-rich algae the whole range is built on.
  • Tourmaline powder — micronised black tourmaline that absorbs body heat and returns it to the skin as Far Infrared Rays.
  • Fuller's earth (Solum fullonum) — the mineral clay base that holds the mud together and draws as it dries.
  • Ivy leaf and horse chestnut bark extracts — long-standing botanicals for microcirculation and tone.
  • Lemon peel and oregano oils — aromatic plant oils that round out the formula.

How to use

  1. Mix the mud well before applying, so the consistency is even.
  2. Spread it evenly over the areas you are treating with a light massage.
  3. Wrap with kitchen cling film — you can carry on with normal activity while it works.
  4. Leave for 45 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.
  5. Finish with a moisturiser or the matching cream-gel to prolong the effect. Guam suggests 2-3 applications a week, easing to 1-2 a week for maintenance.

Cautions: heat and active tingling with some reddening are the expected response. Patch test before first use. Avoid immediately after hair removal, and wait around 24 hours after waxing. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your doctor before use. Keep out of reach of children.

How is this different from the Cold Formula or Fast Action versions?
This is the original recipe — a 45-minute warming wrap. Cold Formula swaps in menthol for a cooling version, and Fast Action is a stronger complex made to work in 15 minutes.
How often should I use it?
Guam suggests 2-3 applications a week to start, easing to 1-2 a week for maintenance.
Is the tingling and redness normal?
Yes, Guam describes it as the expected response to increased microcirculation. If it feels too intense, rinse with cool water and stop.

The base is Laminaria digitata and Fucus vesiculosus, held in Fuller's earth clay, with horse chestnut and ivy extracts for circulation and lemon peel and oregano oils to round it out.
