  • Laminaria digitata (Guam seaweed) — the mineral- and antioxidant-rich algae the whole range is built on.
  • Tourmaline powder — finely micronised black tourmaline that absorbs body heat and returns it to the skin as Far Infrared Rays.
  • Fuller's earth (Solum fullonum) — the mineral clay base that holds the mud together and draws as it dries.
  • Ginger, clove and turmeric root oils with methyl nicotinate and vanillyl butyl ether — the warming complex; it dilates the surface vessels so the actives penetrate in less time.
  • Ivy leaf and horse chestnut bark extracts — long-standing botanicals for microcirculation and tone.

How to use

  1. Mix the mud thoroughly in the jar so the consistency is even.
  2. Spread it evenly over the areas you are treating, with a light massage.
  3. Cover with ordinary kitchen cling film.
  4. Leave for 15 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.
  5. Finish with the matching F.I.R. cream or gel to carry the treatment on.

Cautions: heat, active tingling and some reddening are the expected response. Not recommended for sensitive skin. Do not use immediately before sun exposure. Wait around 24 hours after waxing. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your doctor before use. Keep out of reach of children.

FAQ

How is this different from the standard F.I.R. mud?
It is formulated to work in 15 minutes rather than 45, with a stronger warming complex. Guam suggests it mainly for maintenance after an intensive course.
The tingling is quite strong. Is that normal?
Yes. Guam describes active tingling, heat and reddening as the expected response to increased microcirculation. If it becomes too intense, rinse off with cool water and stop.
Can I use it if my skin is sensitive?
Guam does not recommend it for sensitive skin, and points to its Fanghi d'Alga Guam Pelli Sensibili formula instead.
Can I use it after waxing?
Wait around 24 hours.
Can I use it in pregnancy?

Azione Rapida is the F.I.R. seaweed mud reworked to do its job in fifteen minutes. Tourmaline powder absorbs body heat and re-emits it as Far Infrared Rays, and a higher-strength warming complex — ginger, clove and turmeric oils, menthol, methyl nicotinate — opens the skin's microcirculation so the seaweed actives can get in faster.

Guam positions it as the maintenance treatment once an intensive course is behind you, or for anyone who cannot give three-quarters of an hour to a wrap. It is not for sensitive skin — the warming and tingling are noticeably stronger than in the classic formula.
