Understanding waxing

Waxing removes hair from the root, so regrowth is softer and slower than shaving and the skin stays smooth for weeks rather than days. Done well it's fast and far less painful than people expect.

Technique matters more than product — correct sectioning, the right wax for the area, and skin held properly are what separate a good wax from a bruising one.

Best for:
Smooth skin for 3–4 weeks, softer regrowth over time
Areas:
Half and full leg, arms, underarms, bikini, Brazilian, Hollywood, face
Duration:
15–45 min depending on the area
Regrowth:
Rebook every 4–6 weeks for best results
Before you come:
Hair should be around 5mm — don't shave in between
Downtime:
Redness for a few hours; avoid heat and sun for 24 hours
Wax strip smoothed over the lower leg during waxing

Good to know

How long does hair need to be?

About 5mm — roughly two weeks of growth. Shorter than that and the wax can't grip.

Does it get less painful?

Yes. Regular waxing weakens the follicle, so both the pain and the density drop over time.

Can I wax between laser sessions?

No. Waxing removes the root the laser needs to target. Shave instead.

What should I avoid afterwards?

Heat, sun, swimming and heavy exercise for 24 hours — the follicles are open.
